On 24 November 2025, the Beijing Intellectual Property Protection Center (BJIPPC), jointly organizes with its branches in Shunyi and Daxing District, the training session themed “Prevention against and Countermeasures addressing IP infringement risk in oversea exhibition”.
Yang Xiaoyang, Senior Associate and Attorney at law, Wanhuida Intellectual Property was invited to lecture on the subject topic.
Ms. Yang starts with a detailed analysis of the core objectives of the Chinese businesses attending fairs and exhibitions overseas. She then advises the businesses to conduct their due diligence and freedom-to-operate analysis to assess the potential risks associated with oversea exhibitions. By leveraging her abundant experience, she elaborates on the routes and procedures of intellectual property enforcement actions at oversea exhibitions and the strategies in responding to intellectual property dispute litigations arising therefrom and offers practical takeaways on how to mitigate IP risks in such a scenario.
The training session is well attended by local corporations both online and offline.
