On November 5, 2025, the “Intellectual Property Training Sessions for Companies Expanding in the ‘Belt and Road Initiative’ Partner Countries - Trademark Protection in Africa”, which is jointly organized by the Guangzhou Intellectual Property Protection Center and Yuexiu District Administration for Market Regulation (Yuexiu District Intellectual Property Administration), is held in Guangzhou.

The training session, which is simultaneously livestreamed, brings together over 60 attendees, including representatives from local foreign trade marketplaces, businesses and corporations going abroad.

Zhou Bin, Senior Associate, Wanhuida Intellectual Property, speaks on “Trademark Protection in Africa”. Ms. Zhou shares insights on trademark filing, portfolio management, assertion of trademark rights and supply chain compliance in the African market and offers systematic and practical solutions and takeaways.
