Xie Minnan is a Partner based in the firm’s Guangzhou office. She has been practising patent law since 2009. She joined Wanhuida in 2013.

Ms. Xie has abundant experience in patent prosecution, re-examination, and invalidation procedure. Her practice also extends to patent stability and infringement analysis, freedom to operate, and patent strategising. She helps many clients build their patent strategies, navigating the CNIPA procedure to secure satisfactory protection scope for granted patents. She has a track record of serving industry leaders and prosecuting patent applications incorporating cutting-edge technologies.

Ms. Xie is well versed in the technical fields of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, chemistry, and food industry. Her practice also covers the fields of medical instrument, cosmetic, and informatic.

Ms. Xie also oversees the firm’s outbound patent prosecution practice. She is capable of tailoring, from a global perspective, differentiated drafting and application strategies by leveraging varied prosecution regimes of different jurisdictions to maximise the interests of clients.
