Wan Hui Da achieved a major expansion by appointing three new partners in Beijing, Ge Qiang, Xia Zhize and Zhu Zhigang.
Ge Qiang has been serving as the Manager of the firm’s Patent Department since 2005, with his practicing area focusing on patent, design, integrated circuit layout design, judicial review of administrative decision, as well as international intellectual property matters.
Xia Zhize is the firm’s Senior IP litigator based in its Beijing Office since 2006. Mr. Xia has extensive experience in trademark infringement and patent invalidation litigations, as well as various non-contentious matters and other traditional non-litigation issues related to the intellectual property. Mr. Xia was admitted to practice in 1990.
Zhu Zhigang, another valuable addition to Wan Hui Da’s partnership, has joined the firm since 2005. He now runs the firm’s IPR Enforcement Practice Group as a Partner, Senior Counsel and registered attorney at law. Mr. Zhu, who holds a LL.B degree in International and European Union Law from France Poitiers University and M.Sc from Paris Graduate School of Management, has deep roots in the European culture and law practice. His practice covers the judicial and administrative protection of all the IPRs in China, as well as franchising and licensing.
