LI Xiaolian is a trademark counsel, who has been practicing since 2008. She is based in the firm's Beijing and Tianjin offices.

Xiaolian’s practice mainly focuses on trademark prosecution and protection, covering trademark filing, opposition, invalidation, cancellation, administrative litigation, trademark use/infringement investigation, among others. She is also experienced in formulating and executing strategies and schemes for obtaining and safeguarding trademark rights for the clients in China.

Xiaolian has acted for dozens of industrial magnates in helping them obtain favorable results in both the CNIPA and the ensuing administrative proceedings concerning their most high-profile trademarks and core trademark classes. She once handled a trademark review of cancellation case, in which she helped the client maintain the registration of its trademark by successfully persuading the CNIPA to recognize the trademark use in OEM context, which was quite a breakthrough at that time. She also has abundant experience in securing well-known trademark recognition and in managing multinational corporation’s trademark portfolios.
