Nathan REN is a patent attorney, apprentice intellectual property (IP) lawyer, and senior engineer with a Ph.D. in Intellectual Property Management and works as patent consultant at Wanhuida Intellectual Property. He specializes in the field of intellectual property, with expertise in technical areas such as machinery, electronics, telecommunications, and artificial intelligence. He is knowledgeable and experienced in both non-litigation and litigation aspects of patent.

Since 2010, Nathan has been actively involved in intellectual property legal work. Prior to his current role, he worked for a central state-owned enterprise where he managed IP-related matters and provided strategic guidance. Over the years, he has handled more than a thousand IP cases, including patent mining, application, reexamination, invalidation, novelty searches, technology transfer, infringement analysis, patent litigation, and the development of corporate IP management systems. Nathan offers comprehensive, systematic, and professional IP services tailored to clients' strategic needs, covering the entire lifecycle of intellectual property.

Nathan has published numerous articles in professional journals and co-authored several books on IP defense, general IP technology, and management. He has also contributed to improving the legislative environment for IP by submitting legislative proposals, many of which have received feedback from provincial and ministerial leaders.
