YUAN Yi (Elaine) is a trademark counsel and an attorney-at-law admitted to practice in China.

Joining Wanhuida in 2017, Elaine's focus is trademark prosecution and administrative litigation matters, proficient in trademark search, filing, review, opposition, invalidation, cancellation, and administrative litigation. Elaine has rich experience in trademark enforcement actions, trademark licensing, acquisition, copyright registration, Customs recordal of IPRs, and domain name dispute as well. Elaine also counsels clients on litigation in relation to trademark infringement and unfair competition.

Elaine works with international clients in the areas of trademark clearance, trademark portfolio management, trademark protection and enforcement from the US, Canada, Europe, etc., and encompasses a wide range of industries, such as luxury brands, fashion, cosmetics, household appliances, daily chemicals, foods, retail, and medical. Elaine also helps domestic enterprises with trademark matters domestically and internationally.

Before joining Wanhuida, Yi worked as a law clerk in a law firm in the US, with the scope of practice in real estate and civil law for two years.
