On April 10 and 11, 2025, the 3^rd Chemical Industry Intellectual Property and Innovative Development Forum, which is jointly hosted by Qingdao Zhiwen Media Technology Co. and IP Gather Together, is convened in Qingdao, Shandong Province.

Themed “Innovation leads industry progress, IP powers sustainable growth”, the Forum has a full house of 200+ attendees from chemical corporations and prestigious law firms. The event features three panels: “Judicial, Patent and Oversea Protection”, “Trade Secret Protection Practice of Chemical Corporations” and “Trade Secret, IP Portfolio Management & Oversea Assertion”.

In the “Judicial, Patent and Oversea Protection” panel, Tang Tiejun, Partner of Wanhuida Intellectual Property and Guan Yue, the firm’s Associate, share insights on “Preparation and Examination of Experimental Evidence in Patent Administrative and Judicial Proceeding”. Ms. Tang prepares the floor on the legislative framework and judicial practice regarding the object of proof and delves into the association and difference between experiment and appraisal. Mr. Guan dissects the examination criteria over experimental evidence in patent invalidation proceeding and the methodology concerning assessing the probative force of experimental data relative to the disclosure of prior art from a case law perspective.
