On September 30, 2025, Managing IP launches its Rising Stars and Corporate Stars 2025 rankings, showcasing emerging talent in private practice and seasoned in-house counsel who deserve recognition.

Managing IP's Rising Stars list recognises some of the best up-and-coming IP practitioners in private practice who have contributed to the success of their firm and clients. This year's list featured more than 1,500 practitioners across 72 jurisdictions, adding more than 400 new Rising Stars, the majority of whom are based in Europe.

The Rising Stars list is based on information obtained during the research period for the 2025 edition of the IP STARS rankings and the Managing IP Awards programme. The research covers the period September 2024 to February 2025. MIP’s research analysts used all available research data, particularly firm submissions and market feedback, to produce the final list. Although selection is primarily based on an individual’s expertise and contributions to their firm, the research team also takes account of an individual’s activities in the IP community.

Wang Yuming and Du Binbin, Partners of Wanhuida Intellectual Property, are included in the list. Yuming and Binbin made their debut in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
