The establishment of an overseas IPR help center (the help center) for local enterprises was officially declared by China's Ministry of Commerce (Mofcom) on November 17, 2011 in Beijing during the session of the first national annual conference on business and law. WHD Senior Partner HUANG Hui is listed as a specialist of the help center.

The help center can offer enterprises a platform to gain better knowledge of their own legal rights and of various IP laws in different countries, and therefore is very important to the promotion of international trade and bolter local companies' confidence to compete in global markets.

The center will dedicate to information publication to warn enterprises of policy changes and other reports worth noticing and will also set up databases of legal experts and legal documents. By conducting industrial researches, developing IP dispute resolving mechanisms, offering IP protection services on international trade fairs and organizing trainings and symposia, it will enhance businesses' awareness and ability on overseas IPR protection.
