September 26th, 2011, the Trademark Judicial Protection Symposium sponsored by China Intellectual Property Newspaper, was held in Beijing for tackling the challenge from trademark litigation cases. Over 20 judges in charge of trademark litigation cases from Beijing courts, as well as representatives from Wan Hui Da Intellectual Property Agency (WHD), Pernod Ricard Group, Group SEB, and Michelin China participated the above-mentioned Symposium. Mr. Huanghui, WHD Senior Partner attended the symposium and made comments.

This symposium addressed in-depth discussion of the following issues: 1. Recognition and protection of well-known trademarks; 2.Application of law in trademark use; 3.Distributor’s infringing liability.
