On May 7, the 105th Canton Fair was ended with decreasing infringement complaints received at the Fair, in which, import exhibition area has no complaint.
Vice Secretary-general and spokesman of Canton Fair Mu Xinhai introduced, the 105th Canton Fair tightened the protection of IPRs, receiving 581 infringement complaints, 748 accused firms and 446 firms identified as infringement.
It is understood that the participants can report illegal behaviors at an IPR and trade dispute reception station, as long as finding any infringing act that happened at exhibition goods, promotional materials and any site suspected of infringement.
According to its provisions, the Fair will confiscate the participating cards of allegedly infringing exhibitors in accordance with the procedures, and give penalties to them.
